“Learning to read and write in one’s primary language is vital to success in the workplace, managing health care, and raising a family.” – ProLiteracy
In 2019 we were excited to announce the addition of a Spanish Literacy class to our core programming. This class teaches non-literate Spanish-speaking adults basic literacy and numeracy skills in their native language of Spanish. By learning these skills, our adult learners can confidently pursue other educational goals as well as increase their self-confidence in the workplace and daily lives.
Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Currently, classes are being held online via Zoom. If you are interested in learning more about the class or enrolling please feel free to reach out by emailing thelearningcenter@tlcchicago.org or calling 773-277-3111.
